The Deeper Life Bible Church has officially said it will be addressing the general public on Tuesday on the alleged assault of one of its students in its school in Uyo, capital of Akwa Ibom. The church announced it through their verified Twitter handle.

The Deeper Life Bible Church has been in the eyes of the storm after Deborah Okezie, the mother of the 11-year-old student, claimed her son was molested by his seniors after the principal moved him to their dormitory for urinating on his bed.
She had also claimed that her son told her the senior students pushed their hands and legs into his anus while also threatening to kill him if he reported to his parents or the principal, who was recently suspended over the case.
However, Mrs Deborah had thereafter recounted how she was attacked at the office of Enobong Mbobo, the commissioner for education in Akwa Ibom State, who had invited her and her son for questioning on the instruction of the state government.
