Chairman-elect of Bebeji local government area of Kano state, Ali Namadi is dead.
In a statement, publicity secretary of Namadi’s campaign team, Ibrahim Adamu Tiga said the deceased died around 1:00 am on Tuesday after a brief illness.
This development comes three days after the local government election in the state.
Namadi was one of the All Progressives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidates in the just concluded local government council elections held on Saturday.
